Approximate USD examples use the latest published USD/JPY rate (2026-10-22). The size schedule is fixed in Japanese yen; the exact USD add-on is converted when the payment link is issued and shown on the secure payment page before you pay. This is a service-fee add-on, not a carrier quote.Additional costsInternational shipping is not included in the Japan Lost Item Rescue success fee. If delivery is needed, the customer selects an eligible carrier, contracts with that carrier directly, and pays it directly. Japan Lost Item Rescue can prepare the Japan-side shipment, coordinate pickup, and hand the recovered item to the carrier on the customer's behalf. Carrier charges, customs duties, taxes, and destination charges are separate.Payment methodSecure online payment through Stripe Checkout; available payment methods are shown on the payment page.Payment timingAfter the recovered item has arrived at our Japanese address and is reasonably matched; before outbound international carrier handoff. Facility response, release, recovery, carrier collection, customs, and delivery timing are not guaranteed.Cancellation / refundsNo success fee is charged if the item does not arrive and reasonably match, or if the customer cancels before that point. After a matched recovery, the success fee remains payable even if the customer later declines international delivery. Duplicated or erroneous charges will be investigated and corrected. Any refund required by law will be made using the original payment method where available. See the Terms; rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
