AI CAN HELP YOU START

Lost it in Japan—
and not sure where?

Tell an AI assistant or us what disappeared, the likely places, and where we should reply. We check whether a Japanese investigation is practical. The formal request has no upfront fee.

The free feasibility check is simple: item, one to five candidate locations, and email. No card or upfront payment is required; if the customer later asks us to proceed and the item is found, received, and matched, the success fee is explained and confirmed separately. Shipping is separate. The customer contracts with and pays the courier directly; Japan Lost Item Rescue does not sell or resell transportation. Finding the item, a facility response, receipt, and delivery are not guaranteed. Only the operator contacts facilities; an AI client or social account cannot send an inquiry.

Let AI handle the repetitive part

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and compatible AI clients can collect the details, submit the free check after confirmation, open the formal browser flow, and show your case progress.

ALREADY USING AN AI ASSISTANT?

Let AI handle the typing.
Keep the sensitive steps in the browser.

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and compatible remote-MCP clients can recognize this problem, collect the item and likely places, submit the free check after you confirm, open the formal request, and read your own case status. The formal request has no upfront fee. Google sign-in, photos, and authorization stay in the secure browser; the AI connection cannot contact facilities or buy shipping.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE ARE FOR

You would contact one place yourself.
The hard part is contacting all of them.

Whether it is a passport, suitcase, backpack, keys, electronics, or an irreplaceable child's toy, a lost item rarely comes with a clear location. The problem gets harder after you change cities, fly home, or have to explain the same details to several Japanese facilities.

01

“It could be in three or four places.”

Hotel room, train seat, café table, airport transfer—you remember the route, but not the exact moment.

A traveler back home realizing an item is missing after unpacking
02

“I am already somewhere else.”

You are in the next city or back home overseas. Returning to each counter is no longer realistic.

03

“I could do it—but five calls is too much.”

One inquiry might be manageable. Repeating it across operators, time zones, and Japanese-only channels is exhausting.

That is the work we take off your plate. One request, up to five likely places, one place to see every outcome.

ONE REQUEST, NOT FIVE SEPARATE SEARCHES

We work through the likely places.

You do not need to know exactly where the item was lost. Give us the best candidates and enough details to identify it.

The $70+ success fee is requested only after the item you described is found, received by Japan Lost Item Rescue, and matched to your description. The total varies by confirmed size because a fixed JPY surcharge applies (small ¥0; medium ¥590; large ¥1,720; extra-large ¥2,100); it is converted to USD when the payment link is issued. This is a predetermined service-fee schedule, not a charge based on actual courier costs. The maximum service-fee total if recovered is USD 70 + ¥2,100 JPY equivalent. Shipping is separate. QUESTIONS

Know what to expect.

Can you help after I have already left Japan?

Yes. We can contact up to five likely facilities in Japanese, arrange an authorized domestic handoff when available, receive the item, and prepare it for a courier pickup that you book directly.

Can I ask whether the item can be investigated before starting a full request?

The free feasibility check is simple: item, one to five candidate locations, and email. No card or upfront payment is required; if the customer later asks us to proceed and the item is found, received, and matched, the success fee is explained and confirmed separately. No facility is contacted until the customer separately authorizes the work.

How much does the service cost?

A formal request has no upfront fee. The free feasibility check is simple: item, one to five candidate locations, and email. No card or upfront payment is required; if the customer later asks us to proceed and the item is found, received, and matched, the success fee is explained and confirmed separately. Non-standard packing, international courier charges, duties, taxes, and destination fees are separate.

Do I need a Google account to submit a request?

Yes, live requests use Google sign-in so you can securely return to your case and see facility-level progress. Google does not share your password or access token with this service. If you start from an AI client through the MCP connection, the same Google OAuth flow protects the request before the secure request form opens.

What happens if the item is not found?

We begin the formal request within 24 hours and complete initial inquiries to up to five selected facilities within three days, then report the results. A facility's reply, recovery, receipt, or delivery is not guaranteed within that window. The $70+ success fee is not charged unless the item you described is found, received by us, and matched.

Do you ship the item internationally?

You arrange the shipment with DHL and pay DHL directly — either from your own DHL account, authorising us to complete it on your behalf, or as a receiver-paid import shipment where DHL offers one in your country. We prepare the matched item and hand it over, but the carriage contract, shipping charges, duties and carrier eligibility remain yours.

Can every lost item be handled?

No. Dangerous goods, prohibited items, and items a carrier or facility will not release cannot be handled. We check likely shipping restrictions before the handoff whenever possible.

We will start working the list.
