No upfront service fee. The success fee is due only after the recovered item reaches our Japanese address and is reasonably matched to your description. It starts at USD $70 and is paid before the outbound carrier handoff.

How much does the consultation cost?
The initial feasibility consultation is free. No service fee is charged if the item cannot be recovered.
When is the success fee charged?
USD $70 base success fee plus a fixed, size-based Japan-side service surcharge. The surcharge schedule is denominated in Japanese yen and converted to USD at the published exchange rate when the payment link is issued. The exact USD total is shown on the secure payment page before payment. It becomes payable only after the recovered item has arrived at our Japanese address and is reasonably matched to the customer's description. Payment is due before we arrange the outbound international carrier handoff. International shipping and customs charges are separate and paid directly by the customer.
Can you help after I have left Japan?
Yes. We are designed for people overseas who need English-language help dealing with a Japanese hotel, railway, airport, police office, store, or other holder.
Will you need my passport?
Only if the holder confirms that identity evidence is required. We then send a case-specific secure upload link; do not send passport images by ordinary email.
Do you arrange international shipping?
We can coordinate the Japan-side handover, but you contract with and pay the carrier directly. Carrier availability, customs, duties, and delivery remain subject to the carrier and destination country.
What cases are excluded?
We do not accept pickup-only or shipping-only work, cash, lost passports, medicine, dangerous or prohibited goods, unlawful items, or property whose ownership cannot be reasonably verified.
