Short answer

Tobu Railway's official lost-and-found page says an item lost on a Tobu train or at a Tobu station should be reported to station staff or the Tobu Railway Customer Center. The center is listed at 03-5962-0102 from 9:00 to 18:00, while nearby stations handle inquiries outside those hours. Through-service trains can belong to Tokyo Metro or Tokyu, so include the line, transfer, train direction, and time and contact the connecting operator when necessary.

What to do

  1. 1

    Reconstruct the Tobu trip

Prepare the date, time, station section, direction, train or limited express, boarding position, car number, seat or platform, and the last place where you saw the item.

  2. 2

Contact the station or customer center

Use the nearest Tobu station staff or the Tobu Railway Customer Center at 03-5962-0102, 9:00–18:00, excluding the year-end and New Year period.

  3. 3

    Check through-service responsibility

For a train continuing onto Tokyo Metro or Tokyu, contact the connecting railway too. A lost item may be registered by either operator depending on where it was found.

  4. 4

    Collect with identification

Tobu says collection requires identification at the station holding the item. Confirm the station, proxy rules, domestic delivery, deadline, and any police transfer.
